A studio for work that has to make sense and look right
Kelsey Renée Creative Studios brings together strategic communication, learning design, and visual storytelling to help organizations connect with the people they serve.
The studio
Clear words, sound learning, careful design
Most communication problems aren’t design problems or writing problems alone. A newsletter nobody reads, a training that doesn’t stick, a proposal that undersells a capable team: each usually needs a better message, a better structure, and a better presentation, all at once.
The studio was founded to handle all three together. We start with what your audience needs to know, feel, or do. Then we shape the content so it’s easy to follow, and design it so it looks as credible as the organization behind it.
We work with corporate teams, learning and development departments, schools, nonprofits, churches, healthcare and financial organizations, and growing businesses. Through the Keepsake Collection, we also design personal books that help families mark life’s milestones.
Communicate clearly
Messages written for real readers, organized so the important thing comes first.
Teach effectively
Learning built around objectives, practice, and what people need on the job.
Design with intent
Layouts, type, and color chosen to guide the reader, never just to decorate.

Kelsey Renée Nicholas, Founder & Creative Director
Meet the founder
Kelsey Renée Nicholas
Kelsey Renée Nicholas founded the studio to bring together the three things she has always done side by side: organizing information, helping people learn, and making ideas look as considered as they read.
Her professional background is in learning and development communications, where she has designed employee communications, newsletters, learning resources, presentations, and internal campaigns. That work happens where an organization’s plans meet its people, and it taught her that clarity and care matter as much as polish.
Kelsey holds a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership, a bachelor’s degree in Project Management, and an associate degree in Architectural Engineering. Leadership study shapes how she thinks about culture, change, and the way people take in information at work. Project management keeps every engagement organized and on schedule. Her engineering background shows in the structure and precision of her design work. Clients can expect clear timelines, honest communication, and creative work grounded in a real understanding of how organizations operate.

CRAFTDetails are the message
Consistent spacing, careful typography, and clean files tell your audience the organization behind them is careful too.
CANDORHonest from the first call

CARERespect for people
Whether the reader is a new hire, a donor, or a grandparent opening a keepsake book, we design with their experience in mind.
